Upland Bird Hunting at Calamus Outfitters

We have managed the Switzer ranch land and cultivated fields to support these upland birds and other wildlife found here.

When bird hunting in Nebraska at Calamus Outfitters, you will experience great shooting opportunities, scenery and lasting upland hunting memories. We support small upland hunting groups to large corporate hunting parties.

Calamus Outfitters has some of the finest trained bird dogs you will ever hunt with available for our packaged hunts. These dogs are trained on the native grasses and sandhill areas found on our ranch in this part of Nebraska.

Upland game and waterfowl may be hunted the same day. Our ranch is home to many different species of upland birds and allows you to hunt a mixed bag of pheasant, sharptail grouse, prairie chickens, ducks and geese, and quail.

Hunts start at $500.00 a day per upland hunter. One to four-day upland bird hunts are available. Please contact us for custom upland hunting packages.
